Mixed Choir of BFM

The Tallinn University BFM Mixed Choir is looking for people who can sing to tune, read music and sing with gusto!

Concerts, appearances and the Estonian Song Festival await.

Rehearsals take place every Monday and Thursday 15:30-17:00 at T-324

The Baltic Film, Media, Arts and Communication School Mixed Choir (the former Institute of Fine Arts Mixed Choir) was established in autumn 2013 by students of the Department of Music. During the years, students from all across the university have joined.

The most important appearances so far have been participating at the Estonian Song Festival, the international choir festival Korofest 2014 in Istanbul, and the national mixed choirs’ competition Tuljak 2015. The previous season contained many exciting concerts, including being part of the Carmina Burana spectacle in spring 2016, receiving a III place at the Song and Music Battle, and receiving a Grand Prix at an international competition in Moscow, Russia.

The choir is directed by Raul Talmar and Merike Aarma. The voices are arranged by Zoja Hertz.

In addition to the joy of singing, we also offer 3EAP’s.

It’s great to sing at your school’s choir!
