Standard fee (after August 8, 2014)

  • Academics - 400 EUR 
  • Students - 250 EUR
  • Professionals and consultants - 350 EUR
  • Public sector representatives - 200 EUR

The registration fee for authors or participants includes:

  • admission to all sessions of the conference;
  • conference materials;
  • welcome reception;
  • conference gala dinner;
  • coffee breaks and lunches.

If you would like to participate only in one or several workshops and not in the entire conference, then the following fees apply:

25.09.2014 13.00-15.00 Workshop on “Mega Events: Urban Development, Management and Legacy”, moderated by Prof. Mark Wilson, Professor of Urban and Regional Planning at Michigan State University and Director of SPDC global, the international arm of the School of Planning, Design and Construction

24.09.2014 16.00-18.00 PhD Consortium, moderated by Prof. Tommi Inkinen, Professor of Economic Geography at the Department of Geosciences and Geography at the University of Helsinki, Finland

Fee: 40 eur

The PhD Consortium fee includes:

* world class academicians’ consultations
* guidance to increase the excellence of your PhD thesis

The type of payment shall be selected during the online registration process. There are two possible payment types: credit card payment and bank transfer.

  • Credit card payment - credit card payment can be completed online. Within 2 weeks of your registration the Secretariat will send you a confimation of your payment.
  • Bank transfer - it is possible to request an invoice during the online registration process. Within 2 weeks of your registration the Secretariat will send you an invoice.

NB! The registration is considered confirmed and definite after full payment is received.


Any cancellation of registration should be notified in writing to Tallinn University Conference Centre by e-mail to conference....at....tlu.ee . The Conference Secretariat will confirm your cancellation in writing by return email. 

The following cancellation charges apply to registration cancelled by you: A processing fee of EUR 50 will be deducted from all refunds.

  • Cancellations made on or before August 24, 2014, refund 100% – processing fee.
  • Cancellations made after August 24, 2014, cannot be processed.
