Both St John's day (24 June) and especially its eve (23 June) in Estonia contain a particularly rich choice of traditions and rites which are considered to bring good luck in private life. We invite you to join in the festivities as a start to your summer holidays. The Estonian Open Air Museum (www.evm.ee/eng/home) at Rocca al Mare has a full programme of Midsummer celebration activities, public events are organised all around the country, or you might be invited to a more private celebration – at this time of the year, Estonians are exceptionally sociable.
