Fulbright scholar Dr. David Deese teaching at Tallinn University this Spring
Boston College professor David Deese is a visiting Fulbright scholarat Tallinn University School of Governance, Law and Society this Spring semester until May15th.
Professor Deese researches the international and comparative politics of energy and climate policies worldwide; the role of reputation and political leadership in international politics; the political economy of international trade; and the interaction of economics and security in US foreign policy.
During Dr. Deese’s stay he will be teaching a course on Global climate governance in the International Relations master’s program.
Dr. Deese will be the keynote speaker of the 4th International Relations Symposium and will give a speech on "The Politics of Trade, Regionalization, and the Uncertainly of US Actions" 11.05, in room T-209 at 3 pm.
Dr. Deese has been a visiting professor at Yale University and is the author of „The International Political Economy of Trade; Globalization: Causes and Effects; and World Trade Politics: Power, Principles, and Leadership.“
