Student Academy

The Student Academy was established in 2004. It provides interested secondary school pupils with an opportunity to study and learn in fields of interest under the supervision of the appropriate academic faculty. Approximately 4500 students from all areas of Estonia have taken advantage of this opportunity.

The aim of the Student Academy is to:

  • Support the development of academic abilities of young people;
  • Improve the retention rate of students during their university studies;
  • Help students make an informed choice when choosing a profession;
  • Provide students with a competitive advantage when entering the labour market.

The courses offered by the Student Academy are worth 2 EAP (ECTS) and are valid for one semester. They are based on the university's bachelor curricula and are registered in Tallinn University's further training curriculum registry. After passing the course the student obtains a Tallinn University further training certificate and an academic transcript of the course.

The Student Academy collaborates with the Department of Education and Science.
