Stjepan Mestrovic is Professor at Texas A&M University and series editor on contemporary and classical social theory at Routledge. He is author of seventeen books including Postemotional Society; The Balkanization of the West: The Confluence of Postmodernism With Postcommunism and his most recent book The Postemotional Bully was published 2015. Currently he is working on analyses of Brexit vote and US presidency victory in the context of postemotional theory.

Shakuntala Banaj is Associate Professor and programme director for the MSc in Media, Communication and Development at the London School of Economics and Political Science. She lectures in development and communication, international media and world cinema, and is the winner of the fourth European Prize for Excellence in Teaching in the Humanities and Social Sciences and the Diener Prize (2015), awarded by Central European University in Hungary. She has participated in several large cross-European projects on young people, new technologies, schooling and democratic participation.

Mikko Lagerspetz on Åbo Akademi sotsioloogiaprofessor. Tema pikaajaliseks uurimisteemaks on olnud  kodanikuühiskond ning hiljutisemad uurimisvaldkonnad on Eesti vähemuspoliitika ning eestlased Soomes.

Aet Annist on Bristoli Ülikooli antropoloog, kelle hiljutisemaks uurimisvaldkonnaks on hargmaine ränne, mobiilsuse ja paiksuse seos ning migratsiooni moraliseerimine.

Tiit Tammaru on Tartu Ülikooli linna- ja rahvastikugeograafia professor ja Eesti Inimarengu Aruande 2017 peatoimetaja. Tema peamisteks uurimisteemadeks on rahvastiku ränne, eluaseme mobiilsus, hargmaisus, etniline ja sotsiaalmajanduslik segregatsioon.
