TOM WILSON, RESEARCH PROFESSOR IN INFORMATION MANAGEMENT, DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION STUDIES, UNIVERSITY OF SHEFFIELD, AT THE TALLINN UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATIONAL SCIENCES

Tom Wilson, Research Professor in Information Management from the Department of Information Studies of the University of Sheffield was a visiting professor at the Chair of Information Science of the Department of Information Studies of the Tallinn University of Educational Sciences during the period September - December 1997.

Prof. Tom Wilson gave lectures on trends in information science, research methods and information management in organisation. He consulted master and doctoral students and gave advice for curriculum development. Professor Wilson had also several meetings with Estonian library community and representatives of education.
