Open Doors Day in Helsinki

Tallinn University Open Doors Day in Helsinki is on 30 May 2018 at Yrjönkatu 29 C (Kukontori), Meeting Park Forum Campus starting from 14.00.

During the day you will get to know more about Tallinn University and our study programmes, our International Admission Specialist will look through the documents that are needed for applying and there is a possibility to carry out Tallinn University English language exam. 

Also, please let us know if you are coming and register (if you want to do the language exam, then please register separately for the exam also).

14.00 - 17.00 Mini study fair and our International Admission Specialist will look through and confirm your documents that are needed for applying.

NB! The Finnish general secondary education documents do not have to be attested by a notary. Please make sure to bring your original educational documents. Finnish general secondary education diplomas (Lukion Päättötodistus and Ylioppilastutkintotodistus) are accepted in the original language (Finnish).

If you have graduated from a vocational school or a have different secondary education qualification other than the Finnish general secondary education, you are welcome to submit your original documents (attested copies will be made on-site) and if the original documents are not in English then also notarized translations into English.

If you have already applied in the online application system then please bring the required signed application cover as well (please see here for more information about the application cover).

14.45 - 15.30 Politics and Society: How to Make Sense of this Mad Mad World? by Lecturer of International Relations Catlyn Kirna

Tallinn University offers Politics and Governance and Liberal Arts in Social Sciences programmes on Bachelor's level.

15.30 - 16.15 Legal Profession: Why is it Important to Study Law? by Lecturer of Private Law Phillip Webb Graves

What are the basic areas of law a successful lawyer must know? Phillip Webb Graves will give you an insight to this question. Tallinn University offers Law Programme on BA level in Tallinn and in Helsinki.

Starting from 16.30 Tallinn University English language exam

International applicants who are planning to study at Tallinn University are required to provide a proof of their English language proficiency. NB! Students coming from Finland do not have to prove their language proficiency if they have at least "cum laude approbatur" in their matriculation certificate.
