e amount of approaches to conducting literature reviews as well as the diversity of so ware available for conducting them is vast. e selected reviewing methodology is not the primary factor in choosing the correct so ware. Although some methodologies pose special requirements (such as meta-analysis requiring quantitative data analysis tools), most literature reviewing tools can be employed regardless of which reviewing approach is used. us, choosing the correct so ware mainly depends on other factors, such as how many functions does it provide (e.g. cloud-based storage, generating coding reports etc).
