Who can take the test?

Cambridge English Qualifications may be taken by people of any age, gender, race, nationality or religion. Although they are designed for native speakers of languages other than English, no language related restrictions apply.

Cancellation and refunds

Candidates may cancel their registration for the Cambridge exams until the end of the initial registration period. Please note that if you cancel your registration we reserve the right to retain 50% of your total exam fee. 
If candidates cancel their registration after the registration deadline has passed, they will not be entitled to a refund. Neither will candidates be eligible for a refund if they do not attend on the day of the test or are deemed absent, unless medical evidence is provided to support the absence. You will need to inform us as soon as possible and provide us with medical evidence by the next working day.

Getting refunds and transferring the exam date for other reasons will be at the discretion of the Exams Manager.

In case the test centre has to cancel the exam session (e.g minimum number of candidates have not registered for the session) candidates will be offered another exam date or full refund.

Complaints

All complaints must be issued on the test day. If you have a problem, please turn to test day staff who will be able to assist you. 
No complaints are accepted after the results have been released.

Photos

For B2 First, C1 Advanced and C2 Proficiency exams test day photos are mandatory and will be taken before the start of the exam by the venue staff. By submitting the registration form you agree your photo to be taken. 
If you are taking any other test (A2-B1, B2 for Schools) and require a test day photo for your application, you should let us know.

Identification

You must have a valid ID document with you on the test day. Passports and EU national cards are accepted.

If you are using the exam for immigration purposes, please check if there are requirements which document you should use with the immigration office.

You are not allowed to take a test if you do not have a valid ID document with you on the test day.

Covid restrictions

Test takers can take part in the examination in accordance with the orders approved by the government. It is obligatory to wear a mask throughout the test.

The requirements that need to be filled in order to take part in the examination may change in accordance with the orders approved by the government!

If candidate is not able to take part of the examination because they are not able to comply with the restrictions in place they are not eligible for a refund.
