Audiovisual Arts and Media Studies

Baltic Film, Media, Arts and Communication School

The programme facilitates two fields of study: creative practice based audiovisual arts studies and empirical media studies. The curriculum focuses on contemporary forms and phenomena of media and audiovisual arts studies, first and foremost media production and content research. Special focus is given to the changing processes of media and arts. It’s also possible to study these changes in different times.

Crossmedia in Film and Television

Crossmedia in Film and Television combines the areas of media production, storytelling and management, offering both theoretical grounds and exciting practical assignments. Studying Crossmedia in Film and Television means learning how to tell a story that unfolds on many directions where for example a story is introduced as a feature film, then expanded as a TV series and explored further as a live performance.
