Dr. Anastassia Zabrodskaja is a Professor of Intercultural Communication at Tallinn University where she teaches intercultural communication. She works as a Senior Research Fellow in Sociolinguistics at the University of Tartu, in the project IUT20-3 "Sustainability of Estonian in the Era of Globalisation". During 2016-2017 Anastassia was a principal investigator of the ERA-NET Rus Plus project "Perception of Russia across Eurasia: Memory, Identity, Conflicts" and in 2019-2023 she represents in Estonia the COST CA18123 project "The European Family Support Network. A bottom-up, evidence-based and multidisciplinary approach". Her publications deal with identity, language contacts, code-switching and linguistic landscape.
