Maarja has background in peace studies and conflict resolution, but has always been curious about how to support socio-economic as well as personal transformation through education and help education systems thrive and serve the needs of the humanity in the 21st Century. She is pursuing a Master's degree in International and Comparative Education at Lehigh University, USA. As a partnerships coordinator at the Centre for Innovation in Education at Tallinn University, Maarja is looking for opportunities to empower and bring together people and ideas from different fields to support the strategic goals of the centre and the Estonian Lifelong Learning Strategy at large.
