Triin Lauri is a researcher and an associate professor of public policy in Tallinn University in the school of Governance, Law and Society. Her background is in Political Science (PhD from Tallinn University, 2015). Triin’s research interests are mainly aligned around two areas: education policy and educational inequality; and the changing welfare states and the role of gender in this. She has also interest in methodological challenges in researching and comparing public policy and welfare regime and she has improved her methods’ skills in ECPR (European Consortium for Political Research) Method Schools and other method schools several times. In her own research she often combines correlational and configurational approaches. Her recent publications and projects are related to the policies of youth, the role of gender in welfare state analysis, social investment policies and educational inequalities. In study year 2019/2020 Triin is teaching in University of Oxford.
