The deadline for submitting applications to the Academic Affairs Office (room T-213 or oppeosakond@tlu.ee) in the Spring Semester of Academic Year 2018/2019 is April 14.

The field of research of the planned Master’s or Doctoral Thesis must be related to the field associated with the activities of State Real Estate Ltd:

  • Knowledge-based construction;
  • Environmental impact of buildings;
  • Internal climate and productivity;
  • Buildings and the city;
  • Administration of working environment;
  • Other field not listed here, but connected to the activities of State Real Estate Ltd.

 

To apply for the grant, Master’s students must submit a (digitally) signed application to the Academic Affairs Office, accompanied by:

  • Contact details of the student (including the email, the address of actual place of residence, phone number) and the bank account number;
  • Topic of the thesis and its relevance/novelty;
  • Explanation as regards the additional value of the thesis to construction or real estate sector of Estonia;
  • Reasons for State Real Estate Ltd to choose the application;
  • Note regarding whether the student has received or is applying for other grants on the same level of studies;
  • Curriculum Vitae;
  • Letter of recommendation from at least one lecturer;
  • Short description of the thesis, including the problem presentation, possible hypotheses and references to the materials used, name of the supervisor/co-supervisor and the planned deadline for the thesis;
  • Transcript of Recrods (from study counsellor).
