anthropology
The programme aims to find new connections between disciplines and projects relying on different multi-media methods such as film, photography, sound recordings, interactive media and museum installations as a means
to produce and present anthropological knowledge. The programme is research centred.
communication management
The curriculum is designed for people interested in media relations, organizational behavior, strategic communication and planning, stakeholder relations, research methodology, risk and crisis communication and marketing. During your studies you can specialize in one of the two areas: Intercultural Communication or Political Communication.
comparative literature and cultural semiotics
Comparative Literature investigates literary and other texts across national and genre boundaries. Cultural Semiotics gives further tools to analyse texts as voices in cultural communication. Programme benefits from close connections with the Estonian Semiotics Repository, including the archives of Juri Lotman, the collection that offers unique opportunities for research.
digital learning games
The curriculum aims to create conditions for the formation of a true gaming and education
professionals who know how to integrate educational field and design knowledge with modern information and communication technologies by using innovative educational tools that support learning and creation.

Digital Library Learning (DILL) is a two-year collaborative master programme, between, Tallinn University and the University of Parma in Italy. The programme provides
the skills to navigate in the complex world
of digital libraries and digital librarianship, combining technical, economic as well as social dimensions.
film arts
The programme is a brand-new highly intensive fiction film making programme supported
by ERASMUS+. The programme is split between three different film schools: Lusófona University in Lisbon, Screen Academy Scotland in Edinburgh/ Napier University and the Baltic Film and Media School of Tallinn University.
human-computer interaction
Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) is an internationally accredited programme and
the goal of the HCI programme is to prepare human-computer interaction experts. These are specialists who understand and create a user- friendly technology which harmonizes with and improves human capabilities, goals and social environments.
