Preparation for the examination
When you book with an official British Counci test centre, you can access a whole range of free preparation materials. They’re designed to help you build the skills you need and practice the various tests so you can perform at your best on the day.
- IELTS Ready: Premium - gives British Council IELTS test takers free and unlimited resources once they book their IELTS exam. As test takers complete the practice tests, it adapts and personalises a study plan to help test takers achieve their desired score;
- Free practice tests - Use these tests to carry out timed practice sessions and develop your test technique;
- Understanding IELTS ExpertTrack - A comprehensive twelve-week IELTS online preparation course, split into the Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking sections, with a free seven-day trial;
- Free mobile apps - To help you improve your skills when and where it suits you;
- Face-to-face preparation courses - These courses and workshops are taught by specialists who can help you improve your listening, reading, writing and speaking skills.

Candidates can borrow “The Official IELTS Practice Materials” from the exam centre (S-327) when the copy of the ID document and payment confirmation has been received. Candidates are not allowed to write in these books and have to return the materials to the exam centre IELTS administrator on the day of the examination.
Our centre offers IELTS preparation course as contact training at the university. The length of the course is one month/ 20 academic hours. This course will familiarise you with the format and content of the IELTS test. You will practise all the skills you need for the test and get some essential advice for each part of the four IELTS components (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking).
Course fee is 220 euros.
