RESEARCH
Research at the Haapsalu College is related to both the academic areas of the College and the Centre of Excellence in Health Promotion and Rehabilitation.
The main areas of research are:
- Development of entrepreneurship
- Health promotion related research
- Curative mud and mud treatment are, which is in turn divided into the following activities:
- Studying the effect of different curative muds
- Determining the quality indicators of curative muds, assessing the quality of curative muds
- Assessing the effects of mud treatment
- Providing consultations to the population, entrepreneurs and the public sector
- Developing business based on curative mud and mud treatment know-how
- Mobility and operational capacity area, which is in turn divided into the following activities:
- Assessing the mobility and operational capacity of the population
- Performing studies of the efficiency of new methods, and intervention studies
- Improving the mobility and operational capacity of the population (both prevention and recovery)
- Providing consultations to the population, entrepreneurs and the public sector
- Applying know-how in business
