BFM MUSIC Jr. was established within the Tallinn University BFM project DAVC “Digital audiovisual composition contest”, its main aim is to record, refine, create additional value with visual materials as well as market and distribute the music that has caught attention in the contest. It is a record company where also students (and alumni) of several curricula have been involved in the production process including communication with the authors, refinement of the pieces as well as marketing and distribution. The students’ inclusion provides a trustworthy and age-specifically inspired format both in content and form. As a result the jury-chosen pieces get the opportunity to be delivered into public radios in Estonia and internationally (Spotify, iTunes etc).

BFM MUSIC Jr.’s first creative output authors Alex Ott ja Paula Lass caught the attention of the DAVC 2021 contest jury, where they achieved with the song “Y U So Blue” the II place in age group 16–19 in the electronic dance music category. At this time these Kohtla-Järve High School students were perceived as having outstanding potential as songwriters, who had submitted to the contest a number of pieces from which BFM Music Jr. chose the experimental music category ballad-like song “Burnt”. However, the dashing title song "Feelings Out" dates from the earlier output of the duo. Both pieces bind together a stunningly warm atmosphere and a airy-fairy multilayer-vocal.

Last year (2022) the authors graduated from Kohtla-Järve High School and both continue developing themselves in music: Paula started vocal studies at Tartu University Viljandi Culture Academy and Alex entered Tallinn Music and Ballet School (MUBA) in the field of  sound engineering.
