Environment
THE SCIENCE KITCHEN is located on the first floor of Tallinn University's Mare building (Uus-Sadama 5), in a room of approx. 100m2. The room has six fully equipped workstations suitable for cooking, one of which has the possibility of demonstrating work techniques using a camera; various primary laboratory equipment; tables for serving food and enjoying it together. The room has modern equipment for presentations.
For measuring and conducting research, the Science Kitchen has:
- colorimeter (1),
- digital food scale with an accuracy of 0.1g (1),
- food scales (6),
- wireless temperature sensors (6),
- wireless pH sensors (6),
- digital microscope (1),
- hand microscopes (2, one with a stand)
- digital colorimeters (6),
- thermal camera (1),
- automatic pipettes.
