The activities of the Academy for Educational Leadership are not limited to Estonia – we collaborate with partner countries to support the development of educational leadership capacity, share Estonia’s experience and learn from others. Our goal is to build sustainable partnerships and contribute to the advancement of education on an international level.

Cooperation with Armenia
Period: 2024-2026
Goal: Developing school leadership and educational capacity
Partners: ESTDEV, Ministry of Education of Armenia
We are implementing two programs to support the development of school leaders and school teams. Participants carry out evidence-based changes and receive support from Estonian experts.
"These are not passive listening programs – participants implement development tasks in their schools, experiment, reflect, and must be ready to fail and learn from it," said Mari-Liis Sults, one of the program leads.
Program in Lithuania
Period: 2024-2025
Goal: To help create a learning and teaching culture that supports learner development by enhancing the schools’ ability to lead change collaboratively and based on evidence
Partners: Radviliškis Lizdeika Gymnasium, Vaižgantas Progymnasium
During the 2024/2025 school year, the Future School program took place in two Lithuanian schools, based on an adapted school development methodology.
