Doctoral students of the doctoral study programmes of the SOGOLAS as well as their supervisors and co-supervisors take part in the work of the Doctoral School of Behavioural, Social and Health Sciences  and the Doctoral School of Economics and Innovation by organising interdisciplinary courses, writing camps, methodology courses and conferences and engaging external lecturers from other universities and R&D establishments in doctoral study and supervision activities.

The Doctoral School aims to increase the quality and efficiency of doctoral studies through activities that support doctoral studies, such as developing study area specific cooperation, developing professional and cross-sectoral research communication skills, extending the mutual links between doctoral studies and the labour market, increasing teaching and supervision competences, and promoting research and doctoral studies.

The Doctoral Schools of Tallinn University operate under the ASTRA project ‘TLU TEE or Tallinn University as the promoter of intelligent lifestyle’, financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

Financing period: 1 January 2016 to 31 August 2023
