The Tallinn University School of Governance, Law and Society is a competence centre for social research and practices. At SOGOLAS it is possible to study social sciences at the Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral level.

Our academic staff is also active in the work of the Centre of Excellence in Interdisciplinary Lifecourse Studies. In addition, the institute has the Institute for Population Studies and the Institute for International Social Studies, which are research and development centres in population and social studies.
