Education4Future programme

The aims of Education4Future (E4F) are leadership and agency development for responsive schools. Therefore we are planning an innovation of the curriculum in post-initial master’s level teacher education by developing, testing and implementing a flexible joint post-initial master’s level module for teachers and school leaders on school innovation. The intellectual output of this partnership project is a tested and evaluated flexible joint module focused on strengthening agency and leadership of teachers and school leaders in responsive schools, which is implemented in three higher education institutes and shared on a wider scale to other higher education institutes in Europe. At the same time, through piloting and testing the joint module, teachers and school leaders from four different countries will benefit by increasing their awareness of, focus on and capacity for leadership and agency in developing their schools.

The most relevant topics addressed by our project are:

  • new innovative curricula/educational methods/development of training courses;
  • international cooperation, international relations, development cooperation;
  • quality improvement institutions and/or methods (incl. school development).

The collaborators of the programme are Tallinn University, Hogeschool van Amsterdam in the Netherlands, Pädagogishe Hochschule Zürich in Switzerland alongside the Schulamt Fürstentum Liechtenstein.
