Tallinn University and Tallinn Pedagogical College Sign a Cooperation Agreement

Priit Reiska, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at Tallinn University, and
Koit Nõlvak, Rector of Tallinn Pedagogical College, signed a framework
agreement of cooperation between the two schools on February 22. Its aim is
to develop cooperation with regard to studies and also to offer a wider
choice of subjects to students.Under the terms of the agreement, Tallinn
University and Tallinn Pedagogical College will mutually allow joint
participation by the students in the studies of all specialities and in the
use of the libraries in both schools. Students can participate in the study
programme of the other school free of charge.Priit Reiska, Vice-Rector for
Academic Affairs at Tallinn University, said, "Six public universities have
joint agreements that allow their students to participate in the studies of
partner universities. Tallinn University would also like to enter a
partnership with other higher education institutions in order to offer
better opportunities to students."According to Koit Nõlvak, Rector of
Tallinn Pedagogical College, the college can provide visiting students with
an individual and more practical approach and an ability to work in smaller
groups in the fields of pre-school education, social work and youth work.
