In Estonia, the term "creative arts therapies" is used as a synonym for arts therapies. A creative arts therapist is a specialist in psychotherapy and rehabilitation with a master's degree in arts therapies or equivalent. This is a two-year master's programme that is taught in Estonian. Arts therapies programme includes three specialisations: art therapy, dance and movement therapy, music therapy.

The programme facilitates two modes of study: creative practice based audiovisual arts studies and empirical media studies. The curriculum focuses on contemporary forms and phenomena of media and audiovisual arts, first and foremost media content and media production research. Special focus is given to the processes of change in media and arts.

We offer an international education with a study programme dedicated to film, audiovisual storytelling for different distribution platforms starting from the Internet and ending with cinemas. We believe in a team based film making model with do it yourself approach leaning into creative & indie narrative driven stories and creating live and pre recorded TV to high broadcast standard. You can master the technical field by studying editing, cinematography, lighting, color grading, sound recording and sound design or venture onto the creative track gaining skills in producing, screenwriting, assistant directing and directing.

How do you manage internal communication within an organization? How can you anticipate crises and manage them? How do you develop a communication strategy and build good relationships with stakeholders? These questions will be answered when studying in the Communication Management Master’s Programme.

The study programme is aimed at those who are interested in various problems in the field of natural and exact sciences, life sciences and environmental sciences.

Crossmedia combines the areas of media production, storytelling and marketing, offering both theoretical groundworks and exciting practical assignments. Studying crossmedia means learning how to tell a story that unfolds in many directions. For example, a story is introduced as a web series, then expanded on social media, and then further explored as a live performance.

Are you interested in creation of educational games? Digital Learning Games is an interdisciplinary curriculum combining expertise in Design, ICT, Pedagogy and Psychology. The programme offers a uniquely multifaceted approach to learning games. Our goal is to bring together people from different backgrounds, form heterogeneous teams, and make games that tackle educational and societal issues. After completing this programme you can work as a game developer and designer. Also whether you would like to work in education, pursue a research career, or join the game industry, you will find courses in the programme that can support you along the way.

Documentary MA programme is focused on the auteur concept of the creative documentary. During the two year studies the students are guided to find their author’s voice and to develop their factual storytelling skills. Each student creates a short documentary each semester.

Educational Innovation and Leadership master’s programme aims to inspire educational entrepreneurs all over the world. The study programme examines different innovative learning strategies; data-driven decision making and evidence based development as well as innovative leadership methods in the field of education. This study programme is for students who are interested in shaping people's experiences as they interact with products in order to achieve their goals and objectives. We prepare graduates with marketable skills in design, technology, and theory as related to the domain of Interaction Design and Human-Computer Interaction. After finishing ID study programme you will have two diplomas: one from Tallinn University and another one from the Cyprus University of Technology.
