There are several opportunities for students to train or study abroad. Scholarships are offered by different programs, governments, foundations and universities.

Erasmus+ 

Erasmus+ is the EU Programme in the fields of education, training, youth and sport. It gives students the ability to participate in exchange programs at partner universities in Europe and outside of the European Union. Exchange is possible with universities with whom Tallinn University has signed an Erasmus+ agreement. Erasmus+ programme offers different scholarships. More information can be found here.

Bilateral agreements

Tallinn University has a number of partner universities that offer free tuition for exchange semester/year and in some cases also a place in the dormitory. Usually, there is no scholarship provided, however you can apply for the scholarship from the TLU Internationalization fund (up to 5000€).

Kristjan Jaak Scholarship

The Kristjan Jaak Scholarship for Studies Abroad supports master's studies in recognized foreign universities in fields that cannot be studied in Estonia or where the quality of teaching and research at the foreign institution is higher than that of Estonian universities. It also supports doctoral studies in recognized foreign universities. Students eligible to apply for the scholarship are those beginning or continuing master’s or doctoral level studies at an academically recognized foreign institution and who are prepared to work in Estonia upon completion of their studies.
