Other hotels

If, for any reason, you have chosen not to stay at the conference hotel, here are a few other suggestions: at the top end, the Schlössle and the Three Sisters are boutique hotels situated in authentic medieval houses, some rooms of which still have original painted ceilings. The Three Sisters is closer to a tram stop with tram no 1 going directly to the university, but the walk from Schlössle is not significantly longer. Nordic Hotel Forum and Viru are fairly close to the conference hotel and offer approximately the same level of service, Viru being perhaps a bit noisier. But you may also want to consider staying at Poska Villa very near the university, a cozy and peaceful hotel supporting a charity for the elderly to learn how to get by on their own. The rooms are not very big, but the heart is.
