Three Tallinn University Students Win the Science Award from the Estonian Academy of Sciences

Twelve students were granted awards from the 78 nominated papers received
by the Estonian Academy of Sciences. Three of these students were from
Tallinn University:Sander Jürisson:Master's Thesis "Estonians in Brazil
– Migration and Adaptation" (Supervisor- Aivar Jürgenson)Gerda
Kosk:Bachelor's Thesis "Nostalgia and Narcissism: School Uniforms of
Japanese Girls as National Symbols and Cultural Icons" (Supervisor - Maret
Nukke)Riho Paramanov: Master's Thesis "Taxi Owners and Drivers in Tallinn -
The Meaning, Impact and Relationship of the Taxi in Society from 1920-1940"
