The aim of the Tallinn University Open Academy is to support the University’s activities aimed at the society by focusing on the development of partner relationships in the focus fields. The University’s focus fields are: educational innovation, digital and media culture, cultural competences, healthy and sustainable lifestyle, society and open governance.

Activities of the Open Academy:

  • Coordinating and developing continuing education
  • Providing degree level subjects for the purposes of continuing education and organising the Year at the University programme
  • Providing development services to organisations and coordinating development cooperation; an overview of our services and cooperation possibilities is available on the EXU homepage
  • organising international examinations

The services and activities of the Open Academy are aimed at organisations (enterprises, the public sector, the third sector) and continuing education learners.

Advisory council

The Open Academy also includes an advisory council that includes Estonian and foreign experts. The aim of the council is to support the University’s cooperation and services aimed at the society and the economy by enhancing labour resources and infrastructure in the five focus fields. The members of the advisory council are:
