Master's in Communication Management has given me better understanding about various cultures and the way how people are used to do business all over the world, as well as improved my academic baggage.

Estonia is a place I can call home for more than 20 years. Tallinn University is the third university on my account. I made a choice to study Communication Management due to my professional needs. As an entrepreneur, I felt I was lacking on knowledge of working with international teams. This is the reason why I chose this path and I never regretted it. The opportunity to study with representatives from more than 13 countries gave me more than I expected. The intercultural discussions during the lectures suddenly became very real, and the knowledge was applied to real-life situations.

I was lucky enough to work remotely, be a business owner and travel a lot. Globalisation has a direct impact on what I do on a daily basis – I am honoured to work with people all over the world, where borders only matter when I travel.

Being active in beauty industry for the last 15 years, I have had honour to work with various fashion designers, photographers, stylists, models and many artists. Hobby became work, and work grew into real business bringing me forward to become a distributor of a beauty brand, which I am to this day. Communication management is a worthy skill when it comes to working side by side with people from more than 20 countries.
