TU Students at Università di Urbino Carlo Bo, Italy
Tallinn University Baltic Film, Media, Arts and Communication School takes part in the teaching and research network European Master in Intercultural Communication (EMICC).
The core of EMICC is the yearly EUROCAMPUS, a four month intensive programme taught by professors from the network universities, in which up to five students from each partner university can take part.
The 15th Anniversary EUROCAMPUS took place from 05 September till 09 December 2016 at Tallinn University Baltic Film, Media, Arts and Communication School. The 16th EUROCAMPUS takes place at Università degli Studi di Urbino Carlo Bo (Urbino, Italy) during the current semester.
In autumn 2017 two Communication Management master’s students Polina Shevchenko and Sufyan Abubakar take part in the 16th EUROCAMPUS. What makes their students’ identity unique is its complexity: originally they come from Ukraine and Nigeria respectively, being master level students at Tallinn University in Estonia, they applied for the European Union Erasmus+ student exchange program and were successful to spend a semester at Urbino, Italy.
Their reasons to study in EUROCAMPUS are different and let us now turn to their personal stories: Read Polina's story here, and Sufyan's story here.
