Professor Ulrike Rohn received a prestigious award
Ulrike Rohn, Professor of Media Economics and Management at TLU BFM, received the prestigious Emma Award, which recognizes outstanding contributions to the research and practice of media economics and dedication to the development of the field. This award is given to only one researcher each year.

Professor Ulrike Rohn was especially honored for her visionary and people-centered leadership, which has left a lasting mark on the European Media Management Association (emma)—an organization she has served as its longest-standing president. Her leadership has been defined by a rare combination of strategic clarity, pragmatism, and deep human touch. She inspired and motivated colleagues across Europe and beyond through her inclusive and empathetic approach, always steering the association with a clear sense of purpose and direction. Under her guidance, emma grew in visibility, relevance, and reach—bringing together scholars and practitioners, fostering collaboration, and driving meaningful progress in the field of media management.
During a ceremonial gala dinner, the award was presented to Ulrike Rohn by the Executive Board and Membership of the Association, and handed over to her by outgoing emma President Professor Castulus Kolo of Macromedia University and Vice President Professor Mercedes Medina of the University of Navarra.
