Cultural Resilience in Rural Communities
The short presentation explores how rural communities develop and maintain cultural resilience – the capacity to adapt to change while preserving a strong community identity and cohesion.
Cultural and social resilience are rooted in a sense of belonging, cooperation, trust, cultural heritage and shared ways of living. Heritage serves as both a collective memory and a resource for navigating uncertainty and shaping responses to future challenges. The presentation also highlights the importance of collaboration, voluntary engagement and cultural participation in strengthening community sustainability and resilience.
