NB! There are limited number of places available in the dormitory.

Rooms: Double rooms (two people share one room).
The accommodation will be reserved for you for a fixed period. The shortest period for an accommodation agreement is one full month. Please note that the dormitory will be closed in the summer months so therefore the students who are studying in Tallinn University for more than one academic year have to find alternative accommodation. Size of the rooms: 14m² and 17m² , kitchen: 22 m². Please see the pictures.

Rent (includes communal costs, wireless Internet, bed linen, blanket, pillow, laundry). The rent must be paid by bank transfer at the end of every month.

Smaller double room: 215 EUR and 230 EUR (newly renovated).

Bigger double room245 EUR and 260 EUR (newly renovated).

Additional services: Indoor bicycles storage room.

General information: Double rooms are arranged in groups of two rooms sharing a toilet and bathroom. There is a kitchen in each block; each communal kitchen is shared by 4 rooms (kitchen utensils are not included). All rooms are furnished. Cleaning the kitchen is students' responsibility. Each student is responsible for cleaning his or her own room and for keeping the bathroom tidy.

Booking a place:  After you have been officially accepted to Tallinn University, you will receive the link to the online application form, if places are available in the dormitory. After filling in the online application form you will receive the deposit invoice to your e-mail. The deposit (smaller rooms 470.- and 490.- depending if it is renovated or not;  bigger rooms 520.- and 550 respectively) has to be paid by the deadline marked on your invoice. If you do not pay the deposit money by the deadline you will lose the place. If the deposit money is paid by the deadline, the booking will be made for you and you will receive the confirmation by e-mail. Please make sure that the amount that reaches the dormitory is as indicated on the invoice, any bank fees must be paid separately.

Moving in: Your name will be on the residents’ list and you will be required to show your passport/ID card at the dormitory reception. Room keys are obtained from the dormitory reception. 

Contract: You need 1 passport photo and your passport/ID. The dormitory office is on the second floor (address: Karu Street 17).

Deposit: Upon departure the last month's rent and additional internet service fee will be deducted from your deposit. If there are unpaid fees, damaged or missing items of furniture or other property these will be deducted from the deposit or charged to you directly if the deposit does not cover.

NB! The deposit does not cover the first month's rent.

Accommodation Calendar for Autumn Semester 2026/2027
June -  Housing offer will be sent to you by e-mail after you have been officially accepted to Tallinn University.
Starting from June 1  - Filling in the housing application. The deposit has to be paid by the deadline marked on your invoice, which is within 10 days after receiving the invoice.  If you do not pay the deposit money by the deadline you will lose the place. If the deposit money is paid by the fixed deadline the booking will be made for you and you will receive the confirmation by e-mail. 
August 22, 2026 - First day to access the Tallinn University dormitory.
January 17, 2027 - Last day of accommodation for students staying for the autumn semester only.
