iCal calendarThe conference will reflect on the Digital Pedagogy Development Programme for Teacher Educators in Kenya from the perspectives of both Estonian and Kenyan partners.
Researchers and educators from Tallinn University and Riara University will share their experiences of designing, implementing and adapting the professional development programme. Kenyan teacher educators will discuss how the programme has connected with their teaching practices and institutional contexts.
The conference will explore what the partners have learned from one another: which approaches have transferred successfully across contexts, which elements have required adaptation, and what the collaboration has taught us about professional learning, digital pedagogy and cross-cultural cooperation.A joint panel discussion will consider a broader question arising from the project: how can cross-cultural professional development programmes create sustainable value for all partners, and how can their outcomes be sustained beyond the lifetime of an individual project?
The event is intended for researchers, educators and other professionals interested in teacher education, technology-enhanced learning, professional development and international cooperation.
