Final Seminar of the Project “Model-based Learning Analytics for Advancing Students’ Higher-order Thinking Skills” Held at Tallinn University

The project “Model-based Learning Analytics for Advancing Students’ Higher-order Thinking Skills” held its final seminar on 1 December at Tallinn University.

Led by Professor Kairit Tammets, the project brought together researchers and practitioners to present results and reflect on how model-based learning analytics can support teacher professional development and classroom practice.

The programme featured an opening by Professor Tammets and a keynote by Tanya Nazaretsky from EPFL in Switzerland on the role of learning analytics and AI in teacher learning. The symposium included contributions from Pankaj Chejara, Reet Kasepalu, Manisha Khulbe, and Gerti Pishtari.

The day concluded with a closing talk by Professor Tobias Ley on future directions for hybrid intelligent systems in education.

The project ran from 2022 to 2025 and was funded by the Estonian Research Council.
