XX Annual Estonian Philosophy Conference 2025
Call for Abstracts
The Institute of Humanities, Tallinn University, is calling for abstracts for the XX Annual Estonian Philosophy Conference on 21-22 August 2025 at Tallinn University.
The invited keynote speakers are Eva Piirimäe, Professor of Political Theory at the Johan Skytte Institute of Political Studies of Tartu University, with a talk entitled “The Unfair Enemy in Immanuel Kant’s Philosophy of Peace”, and Björn Þorsteinsson, Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy, History and Archaeology of University of Iceland (the title of his talk will be announced shortly).
The deadline for paper abstracts (up to 250 words) is 10 June 2025. Please send your abstracts to efak@tlu.ee. Panel proposals with a list of speakers and abstracts are also welcome.
The conference fee is 90 euros and covers coffees, lunches and one dinner. Participants are expected to cover their own accommodation and travel costs.
