Bachelor’s degree programmes

The access requirement to Bachelor's study is secondary education or a corresponding foreign qualification.
 
The following education documents must be uploaded to the online application system:

  • West African Senior School Certificate Examination 
    West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) needs to show all examination results, the total score, date of the exam and the code or number of the examinee. The document has to be issued by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC). WASSCE results must include at least 3 core subjects (including English and Mathematics) and 3 free choice subjects. A minimum result of C4 is accepted. 

Please do not send your documents by post until you have personally been asked to do so. Once you have been asked to send your documents by post, please make sure that the copies of education documents have been officially certified. An unused Scratchcard for verifying the examination results must be included.

Master’s degree programmes

Persons having a Bachelor’s degree, a diploma of professional higher education or a corresponding qualification may apply to Master’s degree programmes in Tallinn University.
 
The following education documents must be uploaded to the online application system:

  • Bachelor’s degree certificate or corresponding qualification documents
  • Bachelor’s transcript or records

Please note: Tallinn University only accepts students from Second Class (Upper Division) or higher. 
A Higher National Diploma (HND) does not grant access to Master level studies in Estonia. 

Please do not send your documents by post until you have personally been asked to do so. Once you have been asked to send your documents by post, please make sure that the copies of education documents have been officially certified. The transcript of records must be sent to Tallinn University’s postal address upon request of the applicant by the institution that awarded the degree. 

Language requirements

All applicants are required to provide a proof of their English proficiency. Acceptable English language tests and exempt categories can be seen here.
