In February 2026, Bradley Woodworth joined the School of Humanities as a Visiting Professor. His appointment runs until 30 June 2026.

Bradley Woodworth is Professor of History at the University of New Haven and Program Manager of Baltic Studies at Yale University (Connecticut, USA). As a Visiting Research Fellow at Tallinn University, he is preparing for publication a monograph on the multiethnic population of Tallinn during the last half-century of the tsarist period. The book examines the development of both national and shared civic identities, focusing on voluntary associations, municipal government, schools, and the press.

During his visit, Professor Woodworth also contributes to Professor Karsten Brüggemann’s PhD course and Seminar in Russian History, and participates in international conferences in Riga, Vilnius, and Helsinki.
