At the Research Club, Evely Pajula will present her Master’s thesis, “The Role of the Manager in the Professional Development Journey of a Youth Centre Youth Worker,” which she defended this spring. The presentation will be followed by a discussion.
In the second half we will discuss the joys and challenges of youth work managers, their needs, and examples of good practice in Estonia and Australia.
The discussion will be joined by John Marion, a lecturer and PhD candidate at Victoria University, Australia, who has worked in various roles in youth work and is currently teaching at Tallinn University as part of an international mobility programme.
