Ivo Krustok is Head of the Climate Systems and Energy Policy Unit at the Stockholm Environment Institute’s Tallinn Centre and was the lead author of the green transition assessment for Ukraine.
He will give a a talk entitled "Mapping the Green Policies of Ukraine, Moldova and Armenia in the Context of EU Accession”.

“Mapping the Green Policies of Ukraine, Moldova and Armenia in the Context of EU Accession”
The talk will focus on work carried out in Ukraine, Moldova, and Armenia under the Green Agenda project, funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency. The project aims to accelerate the green transition by strategically aligning with the ambitious EU Green Deal (EGD) and supporting smooth EU integration. To support this goal, comprehensive national green transition assessments were conducted in the three countries, alongside an analysis of public perceptions. The presentation will provide an overview of the initial findings from these assessments.
About the Speaker
Ivo Krustok heads the Climate Systems and Energy Policy Unit at the Stockholm Environment Institute’s Tallinn Centre and was the lead author of the green transition assessment for Ukraine. He holds a PhD in Energy and Environmental Engineering and worked for the Government of Estonia for eight years before joining SEI. During that time, he spent two years in Brussels as Estonia’s environmental attaché, working closely with EU institutions, and later worked for 1.5 years at the Government Office of Estonia, coordinating Estonia’s green transition.
