Over the course of the international Erasmus+ project Professional Development for Diversity (PD4D), youth work educators, researchers and practitioners from five countries – Australia, Croatia, Estonia, Ireland and North Macedonia – have worked collaboratively to explore these questions through joint research, learning, analysis and reflection.

We warmly invite youth work educators, researchers and practitioners to our expert seminar seminar, where we will share and discuss the project's key findings, experiences and outcomes.

During the seminar, we will introduce:

  • A comparative report on youth work education across five countries, examining educational programmes, underlying values, theoretical frameworks and approaches to diversity, informed by a literature review, curriculum mapping and educators' narratives.
  • Pathways to teaching youth work and diversity, developed through collaborative learning, experimentation and reflection among educators and practitioners.
  • Guidelines and methodology offering practical approaches to strengthening reflective, research-informed and innovative youth work practice.

The seminar will also provide an opportunity to reflect together on the implications of the project findings for youth work education, professional development and practice across different national contexts.

Registration opens 1st of December!

Outside the project partners we can only cover costs for the accommodation for some participants on their request. All meals are covered.
Places for the seminar are limited (not for online participation).
