Tallinn University Researcher Wins International First Prize in Japan

We are proud to announce that Sanjida Humayun from the School of Natural Sciences and Health, Tallinn University, has been awarded 1st Prize in the Poster Award category at the 18th International Hydrocolloids Conference, held in Tokyo, Japan (March 31 – April 2, 2026). 

This prestigious international conference brings together leading researchers in the field of hydrocolloids and biopolymers. Sanjida’s award-winning work highlights innovative research on algal polysaccharides and their potential applications in gut health and functional food development.
