How will the new units get their names?

The Leading Committee of the restructuration process will map common standpoints regarding the names of the new units at Tallinn University. The first meeting regarding unit names will be held on February 16th.

After that, new names will be discussed in the respective development committees of new units as well as the current academic units, whose suggestions will be forwarded to the Rectorate and the Leading Committee.

The Senate will confirm the names, as well as the Statutes of the new academic units. This will be preceded by confirming the new Tallinn University Statute, which is planned to take place at the Senate hearing on March 30th.

Until then the new units will be named after the focus field that they will be leading.
