Open Academy offers two short term programmes in International Relations

Tallinn University's School of Governance, Law, and Society is offering two short term programmes based on courses from the International Relations masters programme.

„This is the first time that courses from the IR master's programme are open to those not enrolled as degree students. The programmes are aimed for those interested in a university experience but who do not have the time or desire to commit to a long term degree programme,“ told Matthew Crandall, Lecturer of International Relations at the School of Governance, Law, and Society.

The first programme "Geopolitics and the changing world order" consists of three courses aimed to provide an overview of the challanges and changes to the liberal world order. The second programme "Grand strategy and small states" gives an overview of strategy making and diplomacy from a small state perspective.

Both programmes are open for those with a bachelor's degree and are intended for young policy makers and aspiring policy makers or those who are interested in the discipline of International Relations.

Tallinn University's Open Academy offers open learning as a lifelong learning opportunity. It is possible to study regular courses at Tallinn University without being an actual student. Studies take place with regular day students on working days or as part of sessions arranged for distance students.
