Registration for the 8th Lotman Conference is now open

The 8th Lotman Conference "Reintroducing the Semiosphere" will take place at Tallinn University, 27-29 May 2016. The central focus of the conference is on exploring the heuristic potential of Lotman's notion of the semiosphere for the analysis of sociocultural phenomena as relational and networked.

Prof John Hartley, Curtin, Australia has confirmed his participation as one of the keynotes (http://oasisapps.curtin.edu.au/staff/profile/view/John.A.Hartley ). The working languages of the conference are English and Russian. 

The deadline for applications is 14 March 2016.
