Tallinn University Erasmus+ Global Mobility Funding Increases by Nearly 40% Year on Year
Tallinn University has been awarded €889,955 for the implementation of Erasmus+ global study and traineeship mobility in 2026. This represents an increase of nearly €255,000, or approximately 40%, compared to 2025. The funding will enable 224 mobility periods for students and staff in cooperation with partner universities around the world.
The Erasmus+ global mobility project funding and activity at Tallinn University has increased significantly in recent years. The grant amounted to €504,587 in 2024 and €635,207 in 2025, while the €889,955 allocated for 2026 reflects the programme’s continued expansion and growing international cooperation.
Within the 2026 funding round, mobility activities may be carried out with partner universities in Kosovo, Montenegro, Ukraine, Armenia, Egypt, Lebanon, Japan, Nepal, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Australia, Ghana, South Africa, Mozambique, Cabo Verde, Kenya, Colombia, Brazil and the United States.
The funding can be used over a period of three years and is allocated on a priority basis to units and staff members who submitted internal applications at the beginning of 2026. The guidelines for the global mobility project are available on the University’s intranet.
The next internal application deadline is 15 January 2027. An information session introducing the programme and application process will also be held in the autumn.
