Country specific requirements are in addition to general admission requirements and to programme specific requirements.

 

Bachelor level (BA) applicants are required to submit copies of:

  •     Senior Secondary School transcript of records(School Leaving Certificate and Testimonial)
  •     West African Senior School Certificate or Senior School Certificate. West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) or Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) needs to show all examination results, the total score, date of the exam and the code or number of the examinee. The document has to be issued by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) or National Examinations Council (NECO). For university eligibility it is expected a result of pass for at least five subjects, including the mandatory English and Mathematics for the minimum result of C6.

Examination certificates are not accepted when only copies are sent. One possibility is to order the scratch card with PIN code and send it to Tallinn University with the certificate. The scratch card must be unused. Second possibility is to order the certificate to be sent directly to Tallinn University.

Translations are requested if documents are not in English. Both copies and translations must be attested by a notary.

At least 60% of the possible maximum results from the previous level is expected from the Bachelor level applicants.

Master level (MA) applicants are required to submit copies of:

  •     Bachelor's degree certificate or equivalent
  •     Transcript of records. Has to be issued upon the applicant's request and sent directly from issuing institution to Tallinn University in a sealed envelope.

Translations are requested if documents are not in English. Both copies and translations must be attested by a notary.

Tallinn University accepts students from First Class and Second Class Upper Division only.

Language requirements

All applicants are required to provide a proof of their English proficiency. Only one of the following international language test is accepted:

  • IELTS  (International English Language Testing System) academic: 5.5
  • FCE (First Certificate in English): A
  • CAE (Certificate in Advanced English): C
  • CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English) : C
  • TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign language) paper version: 543, internet based: 72 (Tallinn University Code number is: 0449).
  • PTE academic (Pearson test of English): 51.
