Universities across Europe are under increasing pressure to prove the real-world value of a degree, and as international officers, we play a crucial role in that equation. How do we ensure that exchange programs and traineeships truly prepare students for the modern workforce?

Program

Under the theme “from Erasmus+ to Employment”, we will examine the direct role of international mobility in preparing students for the future job market.

The program is combining time on campus with a visit to a local innovation ecosystem. You’ll get to see how TLU runs its interdisciplinary student projects (LIFE), join interactive discussions with fellow international staff, and enjoy a small festive workshop to catch the December atmosphere in Estonia.

Monday, 14.12

Campus tour, Erasmus+ Union of Skills, Interactive forum, city tour, dinner.

Tuesday, 15.12

Skill articulation, Tallinn University's practices (LIFE, EXU, Impact Lab, Civic engagement), student experience.

Wednesday, 16.12

Local innovation ecosystems in Tallinn, Christmas workshop.

Thursday, 17.12

Best practices, reflections and official wrap-up.

funding

Funding should be secured through your home institution’s Erasmus+ staff mobility grant. 
The welcome dinner on Monday evening and daily lunches throughout the program are hosted and provided by Tallinn University.

Registration

To ensure a diverse group, priority will be given to up to 2 participants per partner university.
